1. Vegetable Rice



Ingredients:

  • Cooked rice – 2 cups
  • Mixed vegetables – ½ cup
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add vegetables and sauté between 2 and 3 minutes.
  3. Add cooked rice and salt.
  4. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Ready.


2. Egg Bhurji



Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 2
  • Onion – 1 (chopped)
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Chilli powder – ¼ tsp

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil, put onion and sauté till soft.
  2. Beat eggs mixed with salt and chilli powder.
  3. Pour into pan and stir until it is cooked.


3. One-Pot Vegetable Khichdi



Ingredients:

  • Rice – ½ cup
  • Moong dal – ¼ cup
  • Vegetables – ½ cup
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water – 2½ cups

Preparation:

  1. Wash rice and dal.
  2. Put all ingredients in cooker.
  3. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  4. Mash lightly and serve hot.


4. Bread Omelette



Ingredients:

  • Bread slices – 2
  • Egg – 1
  • Onion – 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – 1 tsp

Preparation:

  1. Beat egg with onion and salt.
  2. Dip bread in egg mixture.
  3. Deep fry on one side and the other side until brown.


5. Curd Rice

Ingredients:

  • Cooked rice – 1 cup
  • Curd – 1 cup
  • Salt – to taste

Preparation:

  1. Mash rice slightly.
  2. Add curd and salt.
  3. Mix well. Serve chilled or fresh.


6. Sprouts Chaat

Ingredients:

  • Boiled sprouts – 1 cup
  • Onion – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Salt – to taste

Preparation:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Toss well and eat fresh.


7. Simple Dal

Ingredients:

  • Toor dal – ½ cup
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water – 2 cups

Preparation:

  1. Place wash dal and everything into cooker.
  2. Cook for 3 whistles.
  3. Mash and eat with rice.


8. Banana & Curd Bowl (No Cooking)



Ingredients:

  • Banana – 1
  • Curd – ½ cup

Preparation:

  1. Slice banana.
  2. Add curd and mix.
