Homemade Street Food Recipes
1. Street-Style Veg Noodles
Ingredients:
- Noodles – 1 packet
- Onion – 1
- Cabbage – ½ cup
- Carrot – ¼ cup
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Soy sauce – 1 tsp
- Pepper & salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation:
- Boil noodles and drain.
- Heat oil and sauté on high flame on garlic and onion.
- Add vegetables and stir fry.
- Add noodles, sauce, pepper and salt; stir.
2. Street-Style Egg Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- Cooked rice – 2 cups
- Eggs – 2
- Onion – 1
- Green chilli – 1
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Pepper & salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation:
- Add heat oil, scramble eggs and reserve.
- Saute garlic, onion in same pan with chilli.
- Add rice, eggs, pepper and salt.
- Mix well and serve hot.
3. Street-Style Veg Schezwan Rice.
Ingredients:
- Cooked rice – 2 cups
- Mixed vegetables – 1 cup
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Schezwan sauce – 1½ tbsp
- Pepper & salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation:
- Heat oil, sautee garlic and vegetables on a high flame.
- Add rice and Schezwan sauce.
- Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
4. Paneer Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- Cooked rice – 2 cups
- Paneer cubes – ½ cup
- Onion – 1
- Capsicum – ½
- Soy sauce – 1 tsp
- Pepper & salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation:
- Shallow fry paneer and set aside.
- Heat oil then sauté onion and capsicum.
- Add rice, paneer, sauce, pepper and salt.
- Toss well and serve hot.
5. Veg Manchurian Rice
Ingredients:
- Cooked rice – 2 cups
- Veg Manchurian balls – 6–8
- Onion – 1
- Capsicum – ½
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Soy sauce – 1 tsp
- Pepper & salt – to taste
Preparation:
- Heat oil, saute garlic, onion and capsicum.
- Add rice, sauces and seasoning.
- Mix in Manchurian balls.
- Toss well and serve hot.
6. Street-Style Tawa Pulao
Ingredients:
- Cooked rice – 2 cups
- Onion – 1
- Tomato – 2
- Mixed vegetables – ½ cup
- Pav bhaji masala – 1 tsp
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
Preparation:
- Melt butter, roast onion and vegetables.
- Add tomato and pav bhaji masala.
- Add rice and salt; mix well.
- Serve hot with raita.
