Quick Seafood recipes 



1. Garlic Butter Prawn Fry



Ingredients:

  • 250 g prawns (cleaned)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander

Preparation:

  1. Heat butter in pan on medium heat.
  2. And add chopped garlic, then sauté till it becomes aromatic.
  3. Add prawns and cook them 4-5 minutes till they turn pink.
  4. Add chili flakes, pepper, and salt.
  5. Add lemon juice and mix with it.
  6. Garnish using coriander and serve hot.


2. Crispy Fish Fry



Ingredients:

  • 300 g fish slices
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • Oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. Combine chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, pepper, salt and lemon juice.
  2. Use marinade on fish.
  3. Lightly sprinkle rice flour on the fish.
  4. Heat oil in a pan.
  5. Cook fry fish on a medium heat till golden and crispy on either side.
  6. Garnish with hot, lemon and onion slices.


3. Lemon Garlic Grilled Fish



Ingredients:

  • 2 fish fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley or coriander

Preparation:

  1. Combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, pepper and salt.
  2. Marinate the fish fillets between 15 and 20 minutes.
  3. Cook in pan or grill 45 minutes in each side.
  4. Scatter fresh herbs then serve.


4. Spicy Calamari Fry



Ingredients:

  • 250 g squid rings
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • Oil for frying
  • Curry leaves (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Combine squid with turmeric, chili powder, pepper and salt.
  2. Add cornflour and coat well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Prepare rings of fry squid until crispy and golden.
  5. Put the curry leaves in during the final minute as a flavoring.


5. Butter Garlic Crab Roast



Ingredients:

  • 2 crabs (cleaned and cracked)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Coriander leaves

Preparation:

  1. Add butter to a pan and saut a garlic.
  2. Add crab pieces and cook 8-10 min.
  3. Add chili flakes, pepper and salt.
  4. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  5. Garnish using coriander and serve hot.
