1. Garlic Butter Prawn Fry
Ingredients:
- 250 g prawns (cleaned)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 5 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Preparation:
- Heat butter in pan on medium heat.
- And add chopped garlic, then sauté till it becomes aromatic.
- Add prawns and cook them 4-5 minutes till they turn pink.
- Add chili flakes, pepper, and salt.
- Add lemon juice and mix with it.
- Garnish using coriander and serve hot.
2. Crispy Fish Fry
Ingredients:
- 300 g fish slices
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- Oil for frying
Preparation:
- Combine chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, pepper, salt and lemon juice.
- Use marinade on fish.
- Lightly sprinkle rice flour on the fish.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Cook fry fish on a medium heat till golden and crispy on either side.
- Garnish with hot, lemon and onion slices.
3. Lemon Garlic Grilled Fish
Ingredients:
- 2 fish fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley or coriander
Preparation:
- Combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, pepper and salt.
- Marinate the fish fillets between 15 and 20 minutes.
- Cook in pan or grill 45 minutes in each side.
- Scatter fresh herbs then serve.
4. Spicy Calamari Fry
Ingredients:
- 250 g squid rings
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- Oil for frying
- Curry leaves (optional)
Preparation:
- Combine squid with turmeric, chili powder, pepper and salt.
- Add cornflour and coat well.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Prepare rings of fry squid until crispy and golden.
- Put the curry leaves in during the final minute as a flavoring.
5. Butter Garlic Crab Roast
Ingredients:
- 2 crabs (cleaned and cracked)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 5 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Coriander leaves
Preparation:
- Add butter to a pan and saut a garlic.
- Add crab pieces and cook 8-10 min.
- Add chili flakes, pepper and salt.
- Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Garnish using coriander and serve hot.
